Had to deliver some jumping jacks to the other jobsite and pick up the stuff for the welder who is coming to our site, stopped off at tim hortons and bought the boss and the crew over there a bunch of donuts they were blown away by, plus they all remembered me from my overtime weekend helping them all out.

Then I became extremely good friends with the welder who has an aircooled vw bus and a beetle and is restoring them, he confirmed that the network of people I know for vw shit is THE network in edmonton. He gave me the contact info for a guy who will magnaflux and aline bore and cylinder hone a block for 50 bucks.

Plus since hes the welder I am that much closer to asking him to sign my indentureship for a welding apprenticeship if I can get even more in his good books
