Actually.
Last night at Earls, I forgot to turn off the fryer before draining it, and then BLAMO, it started on fire..
I was so scared. Not scared for the my safety, or the safety of the restaurant, but for the safety of the fryer. If that thing had broken, or gotten ruined, wrecked, destroyed (Ect), I would have been screwed, in a monetary-sense, and my trip to japan would have been chucked out the window.
But seriously, it was horrifying.
I had a bucket of water next to me, but thankfully I am smart enough to know NOT to put that in there to put it out (like the person who did this months ago).
I looked for the fire extinguisher, but alas, we have none in my section. Thats right. None.
Thank god Leeder was there, he just covered up the top of the fryer with a tray, and blocked all the oxygen holes. So much smoke.
The girls washing dishes in THE PIT were laughing with me (not at me, as this became a very hysterical situation).

Actually, I doubt they would make me pay for it.
There are just so many things I could argue against them.
Negligence, failure to supervise properly, failure of proper equiptment, as well as prior damage and wear-tear of the fryer.

Aside: I want to get a new job, but can't think of something that I will like. Earls is easy, and once I start working full time, I'll be bringing in a lot more money.

40% from Costco
35% from SUperstore in the Deerfoot meadows
20% at Co-op 0n 130th

I go to the Safeway on 130th or Superstore in Deerfoot Meadows. I like Riverbend because it's on my way home from work.

Hey, just thought you should know, the office is on tonight, as well as LOST.
But instead of watching both these amazing shows, I'll be enjoying Doctor Who, my new current addiction on TV.
I'll even make a thread about it. Just you watch.
