well, it took around 4 years for me and my ex to start dating and she is actually one of THEE nicest girls you will ever meet. which is why i am so absolutely stunned by her actions. it saddens me deeply.

I think you can judge whether a person is a good person by how concerned they are about other people. Not just people they know, but people they don't know.

Understanding females as I do, I can just say that you can quite frequently look at a girl and determine whether she's someone who will settle down. Not always, but for the most part. She looks like someone who would not settle down. It's judgmental, I know.

You're right. But people do shitty things. And quite often people say they feel things they don't feel. Or believe they feel things and feel differently later.
It's terribly easy to lose objectivity in those kind of situations. In fact, it's impossible to maintain it.
I'm sure there is always some guy that's willing to put up with ...
