It has good music? And Ellen Paige. Reasons to see Juno.

Ellen Paige seems highly pretentious.

I think she's cute. But not in Hard Candy. In that movie, she frightens me.

I judge an actor, unfairly, on how well they perform on SNL.
She was horrendous.

I didn't see it. I haven't watched SNL in a long while. It went downhill.

It usually does when they have younger cast that's trying to 'come into their own'.
They're starting to get into their groove again. It's watchable, but certainly not at its best.

I think the guy in Juno is actually a bigger star than she is. Same one in Superbad. He's quirky and endearing.

Michael Cera, of Arrested Development?

I would have to agree with the quirky and endearing, heh.

It sucks that he's probably going to be confined to that 'awkward teen' role for the rest of his career.

I hope not. I like the new ranks of geeky leading males. They're more interesting.

It is a nice change of pace, for sure.

I just see that type of character being overused and being played out too often, much like a Will Ferrel character.

I find Will Ferrel irritating, actually. I think there's a huge difference between Michael Cera and Will Ferrel. I think what irritates me about Ferrel is that he tries to be funny. I don't usually find actors funny when they're trying to be comedians. Try = FAIL.

Eh, they're both character actors.
And if you somebody play the same character over, and over again, it becomes dull quite quickly.

I can't stand Will Ferrel anymore. I was a huge fan of his during his days on SNL, when he was still somewhat unsure of himself and allowed himself to experiment. Now, ...

You're the first person I've spoken to that dislikes Ferrel. Well besides me.

I've only seen Michael Cera in two movies. Superbad and Juno. I liked him in both of them. I'm not sure what else he's in. But he still has the time to break away from that character. He's relatively new.
