I have these pictures posted on my Facebook, but I don't think many people here have access to view them. So, here they all are.
My blank slate.
The frame of the bar and some of the panels added.
Panels have been added and now need to be varnished.
Finished under-counter shelves.
Installed mini-fridge.
First filling of the mini-fridge.
Initial stocking of the bar.
After adding new bar equipment.
Testing of new under-counter "cool white" LED ropelights.
Black light added to beneath bar counter.
Replaced old water dispenser with a new one with a wine cooler beneath it.
Finally painted the ugly white walls with a sweet new charcoal color.
Lit booze shelf under construction. Front must still be painted color of wall, silicone to be added beneath shelf to get rid of visible light in the front, orange ropelights must be switched with "cool white" LED ropelights, rest of paper backing and glue must be removed from back shelf and then it needs to be "frosted".

You should put mirrors behind the bottles. So when the lights are all in, it will reflect more.

I was sort of thinking of that, but I think that there will be too much light and I prefer having darkness still. It's hard to pick up the light with a camera and get it to still be clear but in real life the bottles glow a bit more than in the pictures. I also wanted to focus on ...

True, and it would be a bitch to clean the mirrors.

You should make home-bars for a living. People would pay you tons of money to make those.

It doesn't require much talent, just patience and the ability to find a way to make something work if there's problems rather than just slapping it all together shoddily.
I'm pretty lazy except for building and adding to my bar and my basement, so I wouldn't do very good building bars for other people. I can't wait ...

I'm pretty sure if I tried to make that, I would wind up with broken body parts and no bar. I covet thy skillz.

Hahhaa! That thread makes me laugh.
I still don't understand how building stuff is difficult. It's not super high-quality work like mahogany paneling and shelves, but it's not shoddy either.

It's not a shitty bar, I thinks it's pretty cool.
and I see what you're saying, I construct things all the time, things that come easy to me...and people are amazed that I actually made it. Now people want to pay me for my stuff.

I always wanted to be able to build things. In fact, as a child, I would go to craft stores and buy pieces of wood in the hopes of creating something. I just fail at building. :\

Awww, that sucks.
I think all it requires is a lot of planning beforehand. If you just try to make it as you go along then it'll turn out horrible. I'm used to planning everything with blueprints beforehand and even enjoy drawing up the diagrams of how to exactly put it together, so all I really need ...

I like decorating things. And I can put stains on furniture. I've bought unfinished things and put the finish on them myself. But I just can't put things together in any functional form. Plans don't seem to help me. Not even on the furniture sets you put together yourself; where they say Tab A goes into Slot B... I still ...

Shank, I designed it myself. Afterwards, I looked online for bar plans and I didn't really like them. Best way to do it is to look at loads of other home bars, choose what you like about them, then find a way to include it in your own plans.
I suck at staining or varnishing...
